Marinated Grilled Flank Steak

I needed a flank steak marinade, and fast. It was a weeknight, I was hungry, and Patrick would be home soon. I typed "flank steak marinade" into Google and this came up. Turns out, it was from a blog it is also in my blog roll! Simply Recipes has some great simple yet delicious recipes. This steak turned out to be delicious! Here is the recipe as I modified it:
1 (1 lb.) flank steak
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. red wine vinager
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. honey
pepper

1. Add all ingredients to a ziploc bag or Food Saver Marinator (I have one and I love it!).
2. Marinate for 2 hours (1 cycle with the Food Saver).
3. Heat a grill pan over medium high heat. Add steak and cook 4 minutes on each side.
4. Remove steak from grill and let rest for 4 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve.

Serves 4.
1 serving=4 oz. of steak
