BBQ Chicken BLTs

Since I've been doing Weight Watchers, I've revamped this blog to include points for more of the meals and am now more dedicated to adding more healthy meals as well, since that was one of my original plans with starting this blog.

In the seach for healthy meals that are also easy and satisfying, I came across "Point-less" Meals, a healthy food blog which includes Weight Watchers points for everything in the blog. The writer of the blog is a working mom who cooks healthy, delicious meals every night of the week. A lot of her meals appealed to me right away and this was one of them. We ate them with oven fries (which you can find under the label for potatoes) and it was a very satisfying meal.

2 La Tortilla Factory Whole Wheat Tortillas

6 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 slices reduced fat cheddar cheese slices

4 slices turkey bacon (I used Oscar Myer Center Cut Bacon)

1 roma tomato, sliced

2 large lettuce leaves (I used red leaf lettuce)

Your favorite BBQ sauce

1. Cook the bacon until crisp. Grill the chicken (she recommends a George Foreman, I used my grill pan) until cooked through. Just before removing from the grill, baste with BBQ sauce. Remove and let rest for 4 minutes. Slice very thin.

2. Top each tortilla with 2 oz. of chicken, 2 slices of bacon, 1 slice of cheese, tomato and lettuce. Roll and cut in half.

1 serving=1 whole wrap

10 WW Points+ per serving
