Lemon Pesto Pasta Salad

I take no credit for this one, this is a Rachel Ray recipe. It's a really good salad for summertime picnics and parties and is a favorite that we've enjoyed for years. 
1 pound of your favorite pasta shape
1 cup of your favorite prepared pesto sauce 
1 lemon, juiced and zested
1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
4 scallions, chopped
3/4 lb. fresh mozzarella, cut into pieces
salt and pepper, to taste 

1. Cook pasta in boiling, salted water to al dente, then cold shock it and chill it down under cold running water. Drain well.
2. Add pesto sauce, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, tomatoes, scallions and cheese in a large bowl. 
3. Add pasta to bowl with the pesto mixture. Combine salad and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
