Pasta with Sausage and Ricotta

This is a delicious pasta dish that's easy and great for a weeknight meal!
4oz. of the pasta of your choice
2 turkey italian sausage links, removed from casing
1 cup pasta sauce
1/2 c. part skim ricotta cheese
1/4 c. chopped flat leaf parsely (I skipped this)
2 tablespoons grated parmesan
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper

1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
2. Cook the sausage in a skillet, stirring occasionally until browned, about 3 minutes. Stir in the sauce, bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, set aside.
3. Combine the ricotta, parsely, Parmesan, and pepper in a small bowl. Combine.
4. Add 1 cup of pasta to each plate or bowl. Top each with 1/2 of the sauce mixture. Top each with a dollop (2 1/2 Tbsp.) of ricotta mixture.

Serves 2.
